After President Obama admonished Congressional Republicans to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh on the stimulus plan, Big Media has dutifully picked up on that angle (here, boy – here, boy) and have been injecting it into their news stories and blogs.
From MSNBC’s First Read:
“Given last night's House Republican vote, as well as tomorrow's RNC chair contest and even the recent GOP fealty to Rush Limbaugh, it's worth pointing out that the Republican Party is about as unpopular now as the president who just left office.”
“…fealty to Rush Limbaugh”. Hmmm…. Let’s see – “…fealty to Rush Limbaugh”.
Well, if (finally) standing on principal and simply saying “no” to a $1 trillion pork package whose intent and purpose of creating jobs and stimulating the economy is secondary to “looking busy” and funding social agendas, then yes… yes, indeed, House (and Senate?) Republicans are demonstrating “fealty to Rush Limbaugh.”
Keep it up, fellas.
