"No.. I Said the 'Ditch' in Crawford, Texas!"

Well, she has been threatening to do this for a while and it now looks like Cindy Sheehan has thrown her hat into the ring in announcing her candidacy for Congress where she will run against current House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Despite her boorish, vulgar and media-shilling ways, she has become somewhat of a pathetic figure of late... almost forgotten. Once the darling of the anti-war set, she has since been shunned by the liberal establishment who know a train wreck when they see it.
This has a go-it-alone campaign vibe to it already. It will be interesting, though, to see how this plays out. Will Sheehan, who is campaigning as the 'outsider', get any sympathetic press or is she just going to get hammered for having the gall to call out the Democratic Party establishment for not, in her mind, standing up enough to President Bush?
(... and can a Google search for "Will Sheehan" direct people to this site? Hmmm.....)
