…woops, he did it again. Candidate Obama, once a strong federalist in the matter of gay marriage now has little use for state level direct democracy. Obama, in a letter to a LGBT Democratic Club said he supports extending "fully equal rights and benefits to same-sex couples under both state and federal law." "And that is why I oppose the divisive and discriminatory efforts to amend the California Constitution, and similar efforts to amend the U.S. Constitution or those of other states,"
Again, with the “divisive”. Here’s ours: “incomprehensible” and “incoherent”.
But as Capt. Ed points out, its really not about the issues themselves anymore upon which he is constantly flipping like a short order cook at a truck stop in Barstow but rather what this reveals about the man himself, his character and his readiness for the biggest job on the planet.
Quite a two weeks for Obama…. FISA, death penalty, 2nd amendment, public financing, gay marriage… did we forget anything…?
Two judicial eggs over-medium and a tall stack of buttermilk flapjack social issues with a side of hot states-rights turnovers.

Barack Obama could come out in favor of having school children eat raw wombats and it wouldn't matter. The press is so totally in the tank for him that content is irrelevant.
Well, if you order your 'flip flop breakie' at a drive thru, don't forget to ask for a cold cuppa to wash it all down with, else you get the hotsie-totsie cup, you ain't gonna eat that breakie cuz you'll be screaming your head off as you search thru your address book on you cell phone to call a lawyer so you can sue - but either way, the breakie is ruined & so are your pants - - not to mention your entire day (or maybe the next four or eight years??)
