I agree. I talked to my son last night as he went to bed and said that we'd had a huge change in leadership without civil war and we'd just elected a man who, 145 years ago, might well have been in chains.
That's a cause for pride right there.
If my typing is growing fainter and fainter as you read this, it's because I'm slipping out the door and running for Australia.
