We realize we’re a little late to this party but we want to recognize comedic actor Harvey Korman who passed away this past Thursday as a result of complications from a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm he had suffered four months previously.
Korman was best known for his work on the Carol Burnett show where he was often teamed with Tim Conway playing it straight to Conway’s numerous goof-ball characters. We can’t recall a show where the actors appeared to enjoy their work and enjoyed performing with one another more than this show.
To honor Harvey we went with this great scene from Mel Brooks’ “High Anxiety” where Korman’s character Dr. Montague's compassion and bedside manner is apparent.
Rest in Peace, Harvey.
