The question of the day we’ve heard over and over and which is not really meant to be answered but rather trapped within is:
Do you want the President to succeed?
Allowing for a Socratic response, our answer is:
Does the President want you to succeed?
Given the gargantuan amount and timing of his spending plans which is a self-admission that he is not as much concerned with “stimulating” the economy as he is with a radical jumpstarting of government growth and entitlement which serves only to be a disincentive to individual innovation and achievement which, of course, becomes an impediment to the accruing of any actual personal wealth, the President’s answer, we imagine, becomes much more nuanced, tortured and painfully drawn-out than even this run-on sentence.
