"...that would be my VP pick, pal."
McCain 46%
Obama 41%
But what should, perhaps, worry Suit’s camp even more is that same poll from Reuters found that McCain is seen as a stronger manager of the economy. We can’t remember the last time we saw a Republican candidate enjoy an advantage over the Democratic candidate in the “who will better manage the economy" question.
Denver and good times await.

I know it's been said before, but Obama's under-performing. As unpopular (and in some cases, I believe, rightly so) as the Bush administration is you'd think that the Dems would have a strangle-hold on this race.
The pedals seem to be falling off the Obama rose...
Justin, my take would be that its tough to under-perform when upon which there is not much to perform.
The Hopenchange meme is groovy through the primaries and through most of the summer but its mid/late August... back-to-school time and time to get serious... and dude simply doesn't have the chops (or, dare I say, the ideologoy) for a long-haul Presidential campaign.
And in light of this slip in the polls, can I emphasize enough how much I'm looking forward to the convention?
