The New York Times needs to get out more

It’s going to be awfully hard to avoid President Obama on television this Sunday.

The president is going to appear on five Sunday talk shows – five – to press his case for health care, White House officials disclosed. That is a presidential record.

Uh, really? We’re not sure if our T.V. even picks ups the channels on which the President would be appearing.

As hard as it may be to believe, the overwhelming majority of Americans will not be watching the President as all us fly-over folks will either be in houses of worship and/or with friends watching this curious sporting phenomena you may have heard of.

I don't know which would have been more painful, watching the President or watching the Chargers fall short due to inept coaching, since I only suffered through the Chargers' debacle.

And that IS a nice TV.

The Saints crushed the Eagles. Brees was Awesome. Whatever Obama was saying, it couldn't have been better than Reggie Bush running 19 yards into the end zone.

Dirty little secret (imho), the recession is hurting crowd figures but it is also being effected in no small part due to that piece of technological wizardry pictured.

This recession will pass, those crystal clear LCDs with a 'fridge full of beer that actually tastes good setting just a few feet away, however, aren't going anywhere.
