A couple weeks back we were catching what we felt was some un-deserved grief for our fondness for pop tarts and ear candy so in a shameless attempt at being fair and balanced we will cow to these accusations with this offering.
They remain one of our favorite bands and are true American originals and who also put on the best of live shows.
Ladies and Gentlemen, from Austin, Texas and performing in Athens, GA earlier this year to promote their new album Haymaker, it’s The Gourds playing their bawdy ode to southern comfort food, “Ants on the Melon”.
