The Sins of a Nation cannot be atoned for by a Sinful Man

Last week, Barack Obama fired one of his foreign policy advisors, Robert Malley for meeting with Hamas. We find this curious because wasn’t it Obama himself who said he would sit down with Hamas and others of their ilk for talks should he become President?

Obama spokesman, Bill Burton, attempted to deflect this axeing by saying: “He (Malley) was one of literally hundreds of informal, outside advisors.” And starring a cast of thousands….
This is a very convenient explanation for Camp Obama as Burton is saying essentially, “He wasn’t a big deal. He wasn’t in, you know, the inner circle”.

But it also reveals a trend of Obama either blaming people on his staff or whacking advisors in his entourage when they are found to be behaving in an unseemly manner. Remember Samantha Power and the “M”-word? Story here.

The man even exhumed his own grandmother for the sole purpose of backing over her so he could get himself off the hook in his Race in America/Reverend Wright speech only to throw the Reverend himself under his (short)bus a while later when he became just too hot of an issue.

This isn’t scandalous behavior by any stretch of the imagination, but it does reveal something about the character of the man and how he would run his Administration. It certainly doesn’t seem the buck will stop with Obama but it will merely be passed to those who aren’t living up to the code of Obama’s Awesomeness.
