Cruisin' around on a Sunday afternoon

Frank Ricci is not a public official or an elected politician. He is firefighter. He saves lives and structures. He had a beef with his employer of whom he thought was acting in a discriminatory manner. Through the U.S. legal system, he sought what he felt was justice. Ultimately, the U.S. legal system agreed with Ricci’s claim. However, because Ricci’s suit was, at one time, shot down in the appeals process by a Supreme Court nominee, Frank Ricci must be destroyed. B-Daddy, back from a mini-hiatus has more on character assassination...er, opposition research, here.

Also, what’s an Ivy League education get you? By the looks of it, a completely dysfunctional national power structure. How is one supposed to take seriously the supposed best and brightest meme’ we’ve heard for years when these Masters of the Universe populate the upper echelons of Wall St., the Beltway and the White House and perpetuate the incestuous and kleptocratic nature of government and private industry that has us in the mess in which we currently reside?

And when someone comes along looking ever a modern-day Jacksonian democrat and threatens that power structure, she too must be destroyed. KT has a great post here on why an adulthood spent marinating in the group-think of lefty academia may not be such a hot thing.

And B-Daddy takes the historical ignoramous currently residing in the Oval Office to task, here, for an absolute refusal to learn from the mistakes and successes of the past, all in an effort to pursue “empathy”.

You know it’s bad when Charles Gibson breaks out his Laffer Curve.
