Are they really that desperate?

Courtesy, Instaglen, we found this job announcement from the U.S. Department of Justice that is looking for 10 attorneys to work in the Voting Section of the Civil Rights Division. Specifically, we paid keen attention to some peculiar language in “PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS”

We encourage you to provide this vital information, which we cannot obtain from any other source; we can get it only from you. Thank you for helping us to provide better service.

The Civil Rights Division encourages qualified applicants with targeted disabilities to apply. Targeted disabilities are deafness, blindness, missing extremities, partial or complete paralysis, convulsive disorder, mental retardation, mental illness, severe distortion of limbs and/or spine.

This is some sort of joke, right?

Just what is it that makes the miserable hack, of whom we hold in such great regard, that runs that outfit at Justice think mentally retarded Americans might actually want to work for him?

Keep digging, champ.
