Quickies: He's no Muhammed Ali.

Apparently, Che Guevara does not share the same high approval ratings in Venezuela as he does here, particularly with middle-class, white 20-yr. olds. Read article here on vandals destroying a monument to Che’ near a spot he visited there in Venezuela that he recorded in his diaries and which were turned into Hollywood’s ode to Che’, “The Motorcycle Diaries”.

And here is a fantastically inept article from CNN.com on the economy and the public’s perception of the same. We won’t even bother providing commentary – you’re smart enough to do it on your own. Besides, the commenters absolutely blasted the content of the article providing spot-on critiques rendering every salient point we would’ve made redundant.

And finally, article here on panicked Gov’t. officials investigating free speech (and doggone it, they're going to do something about it!) and accompanying commentary here from Shotgun Annie.

Here's the comment I left at the CNN site for Mr. Steinhauser, the author of that, err, piece.

Geeze, Steinhauser, if you lived in Las Vegas the health department would be checking you for STDs with all the tricks you turn for the Democrats.

The CNN-ORC poll finds Mr. Bush's approval rating remains steady at 36 percent, but his approval rating among black Americans is just 15 percent.

Nothing at all about Congress, eh? I can just hear you moaning in Hillary's arms right now. "Ooh, yeah, baby, you're the best I've ever had."

You may not be able to look at yourself in the mirror in the morning, but at least the pay is good.

By the way, Congress' approval ratings are half that of the Nazis.
