So long Wes' - its been good to know ya.

Nearly a week after his controversial “Face the Nation” appearance last Sunday, retired Army Gen. Wesley Clark is taking a break from the presidential campaign — but many Democratic insiders think he has already been crossed off the list of Barack Obama’s potential running mates.

Another week, another advisor/person close to the campaign, from which Obama must “distance himself.”

It’s a shame, really, because we were looking forward to Clark continuing to make a public ass of himself while shamelessly shilling for the Veep spot. Not too worry, though – dollars to donuts another Obama surrogate will pick up this torch of “untested and untried” political gaffe-ination.
