We're not Saying its Going to Happen, but....

We didn’t pay it much never mind when we first heard the rumors this fall but click here and after reading it, does that not sound like the posturing of someone who may jump into the fray soon or later…. possibly at the Republican convention in August if no clear-cut primary winner emerges? That would be soooooo gnarly, dude.

Cue howls of derision from the Left.

Ah, Newt.

Where the absurdity of the Far Right comes into bold relief.

Or was that Bob Dornan? I get them confused.

I've always been a big fan of Newt. I don't understand what everyone's problem with him is.

I wouldn't mind seeing him strafe the convention if we're stuck with one of the current front-runners. He's kind of like Fred... with a pulse.

Well, yeah.

But what happens when somebody from the actual "left" comes across this blog entry? Those of us in the political center only have so many darts we'd care to waste on the Newtster.

The Rainbow Coalition, on the other hand...

It was admittedly a "throw-away" comment. "Kennedy (John) liberal" just doesn't roll off the tongue as easy. Or am I just digging myself a deeper hole?

You know we've got your back, here, Mongo.

I credit the balanced budgets of the 90s almost entirely to Newt.
