KBwD is on the Air

Much to his boys’ chagrin, we made B-Daddy a CD of these guys’ stuff to better barbeque by.

Put Link Wray in board shorts and a beehive hair-do and you get an approximation of what these guys are all about.

Over-the-top vamping of white trash camp is their lyrical and stage M.O. and because of it, it would seem they flirt with being merely a novelty act…. until you hear the music.

Ladies and Gentlemen… From the great state of North Carolina, we proudly present Southern Culture on the Skids performing “Smiley (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah)"

Also, just as campy, and totally endorsed by Robert Plant is Dread Zepplin. These guys put on a show at the Coach House that totally rocked "JMR's" Birthday a few years ago. And take their music serious.

Uncle Dean turned us on to these guys years ago. Thanks.

Complete with a beehive camio 'do is "Torte" Elvis, Ed Zepplin, and the crew. Heartbreaker (Heartbreak Hotel) (Is that Ron Jeremy driving the milk truck?)

'Dawg, I had almost forgotten about Torte-Elvis and the gang. I'll hook them up in a KBwD feature shortly. Thanks.
