"Pick up the phone... Jesus is speaking, Jesus!"

“Jesus left there and went to the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up on a mountainside and sat down. Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet, and he healed them.”
Matthew 15:29

Add Wesleyan College to the list of places at which Jesus has appeared. Jesus, filling in for Ted Kennedy who has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor, urged the graduates in his commencement address yesterday to think beyond themselves:

"There's no community service requirement in the outside world, no one forcing you to care. You can take your diploma, walk off this stage and chase only after the big house and the nice suits and all the other things that our money culture says you should."

Apostates are not held in high esteem at this small Methodist liberal arts college in Connecticut.

I don't know of anybody who is an out-of-the-closet Hillary supporter," said William Franklyn, a 21-year-old music and government student, referring to Obama's rival, Hillary Rodham Clinton. Franklyn said students who back the presumed Republican nominee, John McCain, "can get jumped for that."

Students say the school has a small, but active, Republican club.

Apparently, not active (or stupid) enough to be interviewed for this story.

Darn those graduates! Some of them actually intend to go and work for profitable companies and create jobs.

Sickening. Just sickening.
