On a Dead Sprint from the Parking Lot, A Hearty Welcome Aboard!

Blogging was a little light today as we were helping a friend check out some real estate and we had our rec league hoops game later on downtown… which also meant we missed that incredible Game 1 of the Western Conference finals in which the Lakers came from down 20 in the 4th to win 89-85 over the flopping, whining San Antonio Spurs. We listened to as much of the 3rd quarter as we could on the radio in the parking lot of the gym before running inside right before tip-off.

But hey, enough about us… we’ve got a very special announcement to make. Mr. Styles of Tom Brady is my Hero and his lovely bride are the proud parents of their first boy and second child. Baby “Lo-Do” was brought into this world at 3:30 A.M. this morning, checking in at 7lbs.- 12oz. Both mother and child are doing fine. The fact that Mr. Styles, himself was the winner of the blind draw baby pool has caused us no small degree of consternation and suspicion but we’re not going to let our pettiness mar what is otherwise a joyous occasion for the extended BwD family. Congrats Dick and Joanne.

We’ll get back after it tomorrow where we think we will be taking a look at some rather dunderheaded Obama campaign strategy and possibly tease our trip to Balboa Park that we made on Sunday.
