A special shout-out and expression of thanks and gratitude to those who have served in our armed forces. Our two older brothers served with honor and distinction in the 82nd Airborne Division and the U.S. Navy's sub fleet respectively so today has added significance for our family.
And shame on us for not recognizing yesterday was the Marine Corps' birthday as well.
Beer week, the Marine Corps birthday and Veterans' Day all coinciding... not too shabby being an American and fortunate enough to live in San Diego.
