Cartoon of the day

.

.

Reminds us of that time some 15-20 years ago when a friend told us that any particular domestic drilling project would take 15-20 years to bring on line.

This cartoon is dedictated to him and similarly those who have desired to see us dependent on unfriendly oil.

.

Thanks for your continued support of geo-political instability, state-sponsored terrorism and high energy prices.

This cartoon is too true. Of course, if we cut gasoline suppies off to Iran their country would fall very fast.

I just wish there was a Keystone Pipeline punchline to the graphic. We should be ashamed of ourselves for depending on Isreal to hold our balls for us.

Cheap natural gas prices in this country are already having an impact on the global energy picture. Drilling is creating jobs. Ironically, the natural gas boom reduces CO2 emissions as gas supplants coal, but it never gets any prize from enviros.

B-Daddy, as you have illustrated with the enviros opposition to the carbon tax (linked to a corresponding reduction of the income tax), they luddites pure and simple.
