In keeping with the Commander-in-Chief's new tenor in handling the Gulf oil spill, we will be offering a series of great historical moments of ass-kicking.
In 1984, during the run-up to the elections, Vice President George Bush, out on the campaign trail was picked-up by a boom-mic, saying off-camera that he was looking forward to "kicking a little ass".
Whether or not she was sincere in her umbrage regarding that remark, Vice Presidential candidate, Geraldine Ferraro, thought that it was directed at her and in a specific anatomical sense.
A minor kerkuffle ensued, leaving Bush to scratch his head and wonder just what all the fuss was about since he was just using an "old Texas high school football" term.
Beers with Demo is proud to have brought you this great moment in presidential ass-kicking.
