... well, at least we thought we knew ye at one time.
Is it possible to believe that at one time just a few short years ago there was actually some discussion amongst serious and sober people that the Constitution be amended so that foreign-born citizens could qualify for the office of President all because of the person of... Arnold Scharzenegger?
Oh, what heady days those were at the tail end of '03 when a special recall election swept Scharzenegger into Sacramento on a euphoric wave of fiscal discipline, lower car registration fees and union bustin'.
Then came '05 and the disastrous tactical blunder made by the Governor to put a raft of conservative initiatives on the ballot which may have had a chance to pass in singular fashion but didn't have a chance in hell collectively as the left was very effective in portraying Arnold's overreach as a right-wing power grab.
Tail between his legs, Arnold retreated into the ideological arms of his wife's family and we haven't seen the man we voted for the first time around since.
Anyway, fellow SLOB (San Diego Local Order of Bloggers) Tim of Left Coast Rebel has a fine piece at Pajamas Media, here, which documents the sorry gubernatorial reign of one Arnold Scharzenegger. Go on over, check it out and give it some Facebook "like".

Thanks for the link!
Agreed. 05 was Arnold's last stand. He went to a gun fight with a knife. Since then he just rolled, and rolled, and rolled...
I got lot of good information, I come here all the time and am very happy with your updates, Thank you!
