Back in the day, there was a summer concert festival held annually here in Southern California called Hootenanny that featured rockabilly, psychobilly and other various sundry roots rock acts and which played out on several stages.
At one particular event held up in Orange County, we recall the masses crowding the main stage to hear these guys who went on right before the headline act, Chris Isaak, after which half the crowd dispersed when Isaak did go on.
