This is why it's not so hard for me to resist the proud "I told you so" attitude that usually comes with an apocalyptic view of the future (not just in the area of economics) for our country and the world. I think about how my generation has mortgaged the future of our kids and grandkids, and it fills me with much regret. It's too easy to blame it on the politicians. "We have sown the wind...we will reap the whirlwind".
Sc, You make a good point, re: it's way too easy to blame the politicians. Who put them there?
