Everyone has chimed in with their predictions, including ourselves, but we wanted to handicap the mid-term elections in just a slightly different manner. And for the sake of simplicity, we have chosen to focus this exercise in libation to just the House (... and tequila) as that is the important one (maintaining a solid filibuster-exercising minority in the Senate is all we're concerned with. Gridlock, baby, Gridlock).
So here goes:
Democrats maintain control of the House (a pick-up of 39 seats are required to win it)
Patron.... Amateur hour. Horribly disappointing. Greasy consistency, no body and really not even worth one's time. Do yourself a favor and use it in a margarita or a rap video, take your pick.
39-50 seat pick-up
Sauza Hornitos... much better. Peppery on the tongue though not too harsh. It's coming together but you were expecting just a bit more.
51-60 seat pick-up
Herr-adurra Reposado... now we're talking. A straight-up, solid, tequila man's tequila. House tequila at BwD world headquarters. If you're over here, unless you specifically request something else, this is what you are getting.
61-70 seat pick-up
Dos Lunas Reposado... Brilliant. The barrel-aging allows that vanilla to make a strong presence without overwhelming the palate. We're entering the am I really drinking tequila? territory here.
70+ seat pick-up
wait for it....
Jose' Cuervo Reserva de la Familia...In a word: rapturous. You haven't tasted anything quite like this and odds are you won't for a very long time. A hint of honey up top and full-bodied wonderfulness all the way through. Velvety smooth and delightful to just savor.
By the by... our predictions: 56 seats in the House and 6 in the Senate. Conservative, perhaps, but this accounts for not overcoming the margin of fraud in a handful of cases.

LOL! Great categories tailored for your site. Just to give you a field report, my humble blog has seen 1000 hit on the ballot recommendations as of this morning (a big thanks to B-daddy for the initial layout). The hits are coming specifically from people looking for "Tea Party Ballot Recommendations". A good sign, and one that may mean you will be pulling out the Jose' Cuervo Reserva de la Familia by the end of this evening
STAY UNGOVERNABLE, MY FRIENDS!
Where are your 'merican beverages? You outsourcing the beverage industry?
Personally, directly after voting this evening, I shall be imbibing a few Texas Teas..... It's all about the Symbolism, dontchaknow.
Outstanding measure of success! Hope to toast the good stuff tonight.
