Plentiful evidence to the contrary

“At the moment, except for the people without insurance, we’re not in a health-care crisis,” said Stephen Wayne, a professor of government at Georgetown University in Washington. “You do need a crisis to generate movement in Congress and to help build a consensus.”


Quite certainly.



Because as can be seen...




We don't really have a whole lot on our collective plate right now.



And consensus is something that this particular Congress seems to specialize in.


But we do know of at least one person who would love to take you up on that implicit challenge, Mr. Wayne.
