A smear-merchant of the highest order, including, infamously branding Marines as murderers in the wake of the Haditha incident in 2005. Murtha went to his grave never apologizing for or walking back his reprehensible comments.

Ding dong the blabbermouth, "stick a knife in the back of your brothers in arms" is dead.
May his seat be replaced by a Republican so he can roll over in his grave like an Easter Egg on the White House lawn. (or like teddy)
For someone who served in the military I never understood why he turned against them. He claimed he was trying to "help" the armed forces but seems like he did more harm than good, not to mention that pork-laden airport named for him.
Hey, for a constitutional scholar, I don't understand why barry turns against it. Maybe because they didn't believe in the first place. His attitude towards the military makes his "highly decorated" war record as suspect as John Kerry's.
