The internet at 40

This Philco-Ford Corp. documentary made back in the late 60s/early 70s sees into the future…. and sees Wifey running up the credit card on a microfiche reader (kids, ask your parents) and work-a-Daddy wearily submitting to his existence as the household’s chief bill-payer.

Pretty high on the unintentional comedy scale.

So....Turbo-Tax interfacing with your bank and cards, plus a stylus pad and very, very good email that lets you send large picture attachments.....

Coolness.

(Oh, you know what's bad? The Navy was still using microfiche when I got in....)
