There ought to be a Law.

You know what we need? We need to get money out of politics. Yep, money in politics is ruining everything. We need to get rid of the excessive influence of lobbyists, also. There should be strict rules for how much money should be spent on campaigns and ballot measures and political causes, in general.

If we just reined-in the amount and influence of money within the political process, it would make it so much easier for the voice of the common man to be heard. The resulting system would be more democratic and give a stronger voice to the Average Joe, so to speak, once we have tighter control of the process.

B-Daddy explains why such grand, yet short-sighted rhetoric has led to some of the most onerous, un-democratic and Constitutionally-suspect campaign finance laws…. and what’s being done about it, here.
